The Telesnap Attendant 2009 is successfully tested for blind support with the solution of Handy Tech Elektronik GmbH.
With the development of Handy Tech Elektronik GmbH a solution is created, that enables the Telesnap Attendant to be used by blind people together with braille devices.
The highlights are:
- Display of the queues with the number of calls per queue
- Display of the contents of all panels without changing the input focus
- Attention feature for new calls
With service pack 2 of the Telesnap Attendant the line state of internal phone can't be presented to the user. With the service pack 3 (expected to the end of the year) the line state will also be presented. Additionally an easier configuration with a "Blind layout" will be added to the WebAdministration. In this configuration icons are replaced by text and not used panels are hidden.
